This project was about more than aesthetics — it was about reconnecting the home with the landscape that surrounds it.
Key Spaces
Living Room
An open, light-filled space designed for comfort and clarity. The generously sized modular sofa in ribbed beige upholstery anchors the room, inviting relaxation. It’s complemented by layered cushions in earth tones and a soft woven throw that introduces casual warmth. A pair of sculptural white side tables add contrast and function without visual weight. The full-height windows, framed by semi-transparent beige curtains, flood the room with natural light and visually extend the space. Track lighting subtly defines the ceiling zone, while a potted bonsai adds a fresh organic accent.
Kitchen
Seamlessly integrated into the open plan, the kitchen offers a balance between efficiency and aesthetics. Handleless cabinetry in soft matte tones creates a clean backdrop, while light wood open shelves bring a touch of warmth and practicality. The central island, framed by three glass pendant globes, doubles as a casual breakfast bar. Subtle under-cabinet lighting enhances the depth and usability of the space, and black appliances add a sleek, modern contrast. It’s a layout designed for both quiet mornings and social evenings.
Dining Area
Positioned between the kitchen and lounge, the dining zone features a natural wood table paired with understated chairs. A large woven pendant lamp overhead adds texture and an artisanal feel, acting as a focal point that ties together the earthy tones of the entire interior. The atmosphere is inviting yet refined — ideal for both everyday meals and relaxed gatherings.
Details
Color Palette
A calming neutral base of soft beige, ivory, and pale gray defines the interior. These tones are balanced by warm wood accents and subtle contrasts from darker browns, taupe, and muted charcoal. The result is a grounded, cohesive palette that feels bright but never cold.
Materials and Textures
The space blends natural and tactile materials. Warm oak and light ash are used for cabinetry and surfaces, while ribbed upholstery and woven fabrics add softness. Stone-inspired ceramics, smooth plastered walls, and linen curtains reinforce the sensory richness without visual clutter.
Furniture
Every piece is carefully selected to emphasize comfort and clean geometry. The modular sofa system provides flexibility and strong visual identity. Rounded edges, soft corners, and sculptural silhouettes create visual ease, while functional additions like built-in storage in the kitchen ensure everyday practicality.
Lighting
Lighting is layered and intentional. Track-mounted ceiling spots create general illumination without intruding into the visual field. Over the island, three glass-globe pendants offer soft ambient glow, while the woven pendant in the dining area introduces a handcrafted touch. Natural daylight is fully embraced with large windows and airy curtains that maintain privacy without blocking the light.
