In this project, we focused on achieving spatial calm — through proportions, tactility, and meaningful use of light.
Key Spaces
Living Room
An elegant and layered living space that balances form and function. A tactile cream-colored boucle sofa and rounded accent tables set a sculptural tone, while deep armchairs in warm golden velvet add contrast. Behind them, a custom built-in media wall features open walnut shelving with backlighting — blending display with storage. Floor-to-ceiling glazing opens the room to the garden and allows for uninterrupted natural light throughout the day. A soft grey rug grounds the seating area, enhancing comfort without visual heaviness.
Dining Area
The dining space brings a refined intensity to the layout. A marble dining table with dramatic veining serves as the central element, paired with upholstered chairs in rich burgundy fabric. Overhead, a black sculptural light fixture adds dynamism while echoing the geometry of the table. This space was designed to host long dinners, blending tactile luxury with clean design.
Details
Color Palette
The interior centers around warm neutrals — oatmeal, taupe, soft grey — enriched by deep accents in wine red, bronze, and black. The palette emphasizes restraint with layered depth and character.
Materials and Textures
Natural oak wood runs through the floors and millwork, bringing warmth and rhythm. Soft upholstery fabrics like boucle and velvet add richness. Stone, brushed metal, and handmade ceramics introduce contrast and texture, while walls remain softly matte.
Furniture
Furnishings follow a sculptural language: curved, grounded, and tactile. The main pieces are generously scaled yet visually light. Custom cabinetry and shelving seamlessly integrate into the architecture, while iconic chairs and low tables provide refined highlights.
Lighting
Layered lighting enhances mood and volume throughout the space. Concealed LED strips inside shelving add ambient glow, while the pendant above the dining table acts as a sculptural feature. Floor and table lamps soften corners and emphasize texture. Daylight is fully embraced through oversized windows with sheer curtains that diffuse rather than block.
